23 weeks

How Far Along: 23 weeks!

Size of baby: About as big as a large mango! (thanks, BabyCenter.com!)

Milestones: Loud noises are becoming familiar to him now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner *in our case, my boys being loud boys!* — probably won't faze him when he hears them outside the womb. (Thanks again, BabyCenter.com!)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 9-10 pound-ish:)

Maternity Clothes: Maternity pants, some maternity shirts, some shirts a size bigger:) I need to invest in some maternity shorts for summer..if summer decides to show up this year!

Gender: BOY!

Movement: All the time:) I love that you can see it from the outside!

Sleep: I'm napping maybe 40% of the time now! Yeah!

What I miss: Not much!

Cravings: Summer-y stuff: corn on the cob, watermelon, cold lemonade....Mmmm.

Symptoms: The basketball I shoved under my shirt:)

Best Moment This Week: A few people have been able to feel baby boy move from the outside which is fun! I love seeing their reaction when they feel it:)

What I'm Looking Forward To: A relaxing weekend! It's been a very busy few days and I'm really looking forward to putting my feet up:)

22 weeks!

How Far Along: 22 weeks!

Size of baby: He's the length of a spaghetti squash! (thanks, BabyCenter.com!)

Milestones: His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums.(Thanks again, BabyCenter.com!)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 9 pound-ish:)

Maternity Clothes: Maternity pants, some maternity shirts, some shirts a size bigger:)

Gender: BOY!

Movement: All the time:)

Sleep: I'm trying to weed out my daily naps...I can go every other day or so without one! (granted I fall asleep super early on days on don't nap)

What I miss: Not much!

Cravings: I walked by cheesecake the other day in the bakery...ooh that looked good:) I've been guzzling lemonade lately...ice cold lemonade! yum.

Symptoms: Big Belly. Feeling kicks. Acid Reflux...yeah that one's not so fun!

Best Moment This Week: On Tuesday I had a stranger say to me: "you look like you're about ready to pop! When are you due?" Me: "Umm...September" Her: "oh. um. I mean....." Me: "Don't worry; it's my 3rd baby - my body knows what to do!"

In her defense I was wearing a tight-fitting shirt that clearly showed my belly in all it's belly-goodness!

What I'm Looking Forward To: Enjoying everyday of this pregnancy! I know that once he's out I will miss his little kicks and the beautiful belly bump:) I'm to the stage where it's clear I'm pregnant and I love it!

21 weeks!

How Far Along: 21 weeks! (and a few days...)

Size of baby: My baby is the length of a carrot! (thanks, BabyCenter.com!)

Milestones: My baby's eyebrows and lids are present now! cool:) (Thanks again, BabyCenter.com!)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I had my 21 week appointment Wednesday morning and according to their scale I'm up 8 pounds! *granted it was in the morning...we'll say 8-9 pounds:)

Maternity Clothes: Maternity pants. Some maternity tops. Some tops a size up. I need to buy some bigger sizes (or maternity) tanks for working out it...if I raise my arms too high you may see some lovely, white belly skin!

Gender: BOY! It was very clear in the ultrasound...very clear!

Movement: Oh yeah! Judah was sitting in my lap the other day and baby boy was pushing back on him! Little Judah had no clue though...

Sleep: yes please. :)

What I miss: Not much!

Cravings: I went out for dessert with a wonderful friend on Wednesday and the dessert we split was DELISH! I'm craving that again. and again. It was some sort of magnificent cheesecake with chocolate crust and caramel and nuts and everything else good in dessert world...oh yeah:) We ordered it by pointing at it through the display so I honestly don't know what it's called!

Symptoms: well, my bump is really giving me away:) Love it!

Best Moment This Week: Finding out that we're having another BOY! I also PASSED my 'early gestational diabetes' test this week! Since I had GD with Judah my midwife doesn't want to miss it...I got tested at 21 weeks (which I passed!) and then again in 6 weeks (I really hope I pass again!!)

What I'm Looking Forward To: Getting the boys excited about having another BROTHER! Ethan is starting to warm up to the idea more and more each day:)

3 of a kind!

We had our ultrasound yesterday and our little babe is looking wonderful! Growing right on track, all the parts are there, beautiful as ever:)

Babe even cooperated and we CLEARLY saw that.....

IT'S A BOY!

Ethan was a little sad/confused when we first told him (he was convinced the baby was a girl) but he has warmed up to the idea now:) Soon I'll write his response (clearly from the mouth of a toddler!)

We are very excited for our healthy little baby boy - 3 of a kind! How fun:)

20 weeks!

How Far Along: 20 weeks! half way:)

Size of baby: About the length of a banana from head to toe! (thanks, BabyCenter.com!)

Milestones: My baby's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for their digestive system. (thanks again, BabyCenter.com!)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I got weighed last week and I am up 8 pounds; so I would guess this week at 8-9 pounds.

Maternity Clothes: I've embraced my maternity pants; tops I'm still getting by with either a size up and some maternity:)

Gender: WE FIND OUT TOMORROW MORNING!

Movement: Yep! It's getting easier to feel from the outside of my tummy - Ethan had his hand on it the other day and I think he felt it! (I know the baby moved and asked him if he felt it...of course he said 'yes')

Sleep: Still napping almost everyday and loving my sleep at night.

What I miss: Not much - maybe sugar? maybe not. If I have too much sugar I get dizzy and sick (my wonderful GD test is coming up soon....joy.)

Cravings: Depends on the time of day - sometimes all that sounds good is fruit and water and other times carbs sound delish!

Symptoms: My growing bump:) Lots of baby kicks!

Best Moment This Week: Getting over my nasty cold - weird 'best moment' but when you're pregnant with a horrible cold and can't take any meds for it...I call getting healthy a wonderful moment:) Thankfully, my head cold only last 3 (very long) days. whew.

What I'm Looking Forward To: Tomorrow's ultrasound! Hopefully the babe will cooperate and we'll discover if I have a little girl or boy growing in me!

I cannot believe it's already MAY! Time is flying so fast around here...I feel like it was just Christmas! Wow. The days seem long but the weeks and months are whizzing by me...before I know it September will be here..oh boy! With May upon us it means SUMMER is right around the corner - I LOVE SUMMER:) Here's hoping for a long, relaxing, (warm!) summer!
